2M:djg-c 2/4/82 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9055 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING <br />OF LOW PRESSURE SODIUM VAPOR STREET LIGHTS <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE STREET LIGHT CONVERSION <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br />0 ?IGINAL <br />FEB 8 1982 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9015, adopted December <br />7, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br />low pressure sodium vapor street lights in connection with the <br />street light conversion project; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, Amfac Electric Supply Co., San Carlos, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br />ment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid <br />to Amfac Electric Supply Co.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Amfac Electric Supply Co., in the total lump <br />sum of One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred seven and <br />45/100 Dollars ($196,507.45) including all applicable sales <br />tax for the furnishing of low pressure sodium vapor street lights <br />in connection with the street light conversion project, in accord- <br />ance with the bidder's proposal dated January 12, 1982, and in <br />accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br />furnishing of said equipment. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br />9003 <br />
