The City Clerk, having certified to this Council <br /> <br />the results of her examination of a Referendum Petition with respect <br /> <br />to Resolution No. 9131, adopted May 24, 1982 by this Council, and <br /> <br />not having repealed said Resolution, in whole or in part, this <br /> <br />Council does hereby order submission to the electors of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City at a special municipal election to be held in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City on Tuesday, November 2, 1982, the Referendum Ballot <br /> <br />Measure hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />All electors of the City of Redwood City qualified to vote at <br /> <br />the special municipal election in the City of Redwood City on <br /> <br />November 2, 1982 shall be qualified to vote on the measure <br /> <br />submitted hereby. <br /> <br />The polls shall be opened at 7:00 A.M. on said day of the <br /> <br />election and shall be kept open continuously thereafter until <br /> <br />8:00 P.M. of said day when the polls shall be closed, except as <br /> <br />provided in ~14301 of the Elections Code, and the election <br /> <br />officers shall thereupon proceed to canvass the ballots cast <br /> <br />thereat. <br /> <br />Where a voting system is used at said special municipal <br /> <br />election, the provisions of Chapter 3 (commencing with ~15200), <br /> <br />Division 11, of the Elections Code shall govern such usage, and <br /> <br />9162 <br />
