<br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9421 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />REDWOOD CITY-SAN MATEO COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, <br />RELA TING TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF <br />LOCAL INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce has requested the City of Redwood City to contribute certain <br /> <br />monies during the fiscal year July 1, 1983 - June 30, 1984, for the maintenance <br /> <br />and improvement of the economy of the City of Redwood City by the general <br /> <br />development and promotion of local industry and commerce, in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to authorize <br /> <br />the execution of an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce providing for a payment <br /> <br />of Twenty Thousand and No/l00 Dollars ($20,000.00) to the San Mateo County <br /> <br />Chamber of Commerce by the City of Redwood City for such above stated <br /> <br />purposes for the fiscal year July 1,1983 - June 30,1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/21/83) , by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce relating to the general development and promotion of local industry <br /> <br />and commerce in the City of Redwood City, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the <br /> <br />same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />I~.P;) . <br /> <br />') !\~. i~: FORM: <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.~0 <br /> <br />elT, Al rO<l",EY <br />
