The following monthly salary rates, in dollars, are established for each of the employee positions within the employment classifications relating to the Police Department personnel, set forth below, within the designated ranges hereinafter set forth, for the period November 1, 1984 to October 31, 1985

Effective November 1, 1983, unit members assigned as <br /> <br />Field Training Officers shall receive a differential payment <br /> <br />equal to five percent (5%) of the straight-time monthly rate of <br /> <br />pay for this classification and step. <br /> <br />3. Effective November 1, 1983, the City will contribute <br /> <br />seven percent <br /> <br />(7%) <br /> <br />of the employee's nine percent <br /> <br />(9%) <br /> <br />contribution to Public Employees Retirement System (P.E.R.S.). <br /> <br />4. Effective November 1, 1983, the City shall contribute on <br /> <br />behalf of employees presented by the Public Officers Association <br /> <br />up to a maximum of $147.31 per month per employee based on a <br /> <br />composite rate for those employees who have selected health care <br /> <br />insurance coverage provided by Blue Cross of California.
