<br />DCB:sh <br />)CB: sh <br /> <br />10/08/85 <br />10/14/85R <br /> <br />O,r--1'/r;I~'J /" I <br />I ~dU1L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 1 002 6 <br /> <br />OCT 1 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER <br />LANDSCAPE PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9986, adopted August 26, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for Fair Oaks Community <br /> <br />Center Landscape Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LE COUNT CONSTRUCTION, Pacifica, <br /> <br />California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Le Count Construction; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Le Count Construction in the amount of <br /> <br />Seventy Nine Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Four and 70/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($79,174.70), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated September 17, 1985, for the base bid plus additive <br /> <br />alternate No.1, (sitting area), additive alternate No.3, (play <br /> <br />surface), additive alternate No.8, (wood gate), and additive <br /> <br />alternate <br /> <br />No. <br /> <br />9, <br /> <br />(play <br /> <br />structures) <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />furnishing <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />installation of import fill as necessary for Fair Oaks Community <br /> <br />Center Landscape Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />10026 <br />
