<br />DCB:sh 11/08/85 <br /> <br />NOV 1 8 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0067 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS <br />SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />VETERANS BOULEVARD ORiGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code ~5876, the <br /> <br />City Council authorized by motion the Director of Public Works to <br /> <br />notify owners of property fronting on that portion of Veterans <br /> <br />Boulevard in which no sidewalks have been constructed thereto, to <br /> <br />construct or cause to be constructed sidewalks in front of the <br /> <br />property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice was sent to owners of such property to <br /> <br />construct or cause to be constructed the sidewalks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of hearing any and all protests in relation <br /> <br />to said notice to construct sidewalks was given by causing Notice <br /> <br />of Hearing to be duly posted and mailed in the time, form and <br /> <br />manner provided by Streets and Highways Code ~~5870 et.seq., all <br /> <br />as more particularly appears from the certificates and affidavits <br /> <br />thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk; whereupon the <br /> <br />hearing thereon was duly and regularly held at the time and place <br /> <br />marked and posted in said Notice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />persons interested, objected thereto, <br /> <br />filed written protests with the City Clerk of this City at or <br /> <br />before the time set for hearing, and all persons interested, <br /> <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard and <br /> <br />all matters and things pertaining thereto were fully heard and <br /> <br />considered by Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />, .~ <br />
