<br />WHEREAS, the Ci ty Manag er has caused to be made and filed with <br /> <br /> <br />the City Clerk a report, in writing, setting forth the budget, the <br /> <br /> <br />formula for the annual assessment levy, a description of each lot or <br /> <br /> <br />parcel of property to be assessed and the amount of assessment to be <br /> <br />levied against each lot or parcel of property in accordance with said <br /> <br /> <br />formula; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered said report and each <br /> <br /> <br />and every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said <br /> <br /> <br />report is sufficient, and that neither said report, nor any part <br /> <br />thereof requires or should be modified in any respect; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I T IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as <br /> <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Tha t th is Counc i 1 hereby de termine s tha t the costs and <br /> <br /> <br />expenses of the maintenance and operation of the levees, storm drain <br /> <br />system improvements, water facilities, sanitary sewer facilities and <br /> <br />associated public improvements within the District as more particularly <br /> <br /> <br />described in Resolution No. 9859, cannot be appropriately financed <br /> <br /> <br />pursuant to Chapter 26 of Part 3 of Division 7 of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, and that this Resolution is therefor adopted and <br /> <br /> <br />proceedings are being taken pursuant to Article 3 of Ordinance No. 1895 <br />of the City of Redwood City to provide for an alternative method for <br />the levy of benefit assessments for said purpose. <br />2. That it is the intent of this Council to order that the <br />costs and expenses of maintaining and operating said public <br />improvements within said District, including the cost of necessary <br />repairs, replacements, water, fuel, power, gas, electric current, care, <br /> <br />16- 017 <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />06/05/85 <br />
