<br />supervision and any and all other items necessary for the proper <br /> <br />maintenance and operation thereof shall annually be assessed either <br />partly or wholly upon the lots and parcels of property within said <br /> <br />maintenance district benefited thereby in accordance with the formula <br /> <br />hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />3. That a statement of the formula upon and by which annual <br /> <br />assessment levies for the payment of said costs and expenses will be <br /> <br />apportioned according to benefits among the several lots or parcels of <br /> <br />property within said maintenance district is as follows: <br /> <br />The entire cost of annual operation, maintenance, <br />replacements, or betterments is to be levied against and be <br />borne by Assessment Parcels one (1) through seventeen (17), <br />inclusive, as shown on that certain map entitled "Proposed <br />Boundary Seaport Centre Maintenance District", filed in the <br />office of the City Clerk on January 24,1985, on the basis <br />of the area that each Assessment Parcel bears to the total <br />acreage of all Assessment Parcels. The area of each <br />Assessment Parcel and the total acreage of all Assessment <br />Parcels shall not include any area which represents lands <br />owned in fee simple by a public corporation or any public <br />streets in use or to be used in the per formance of a publ ic <br />function. <br /> <br />4. That the City Manager has caused to be prepared and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk a report, in writing, which provides the basis for <br /> <br />the levy of benefit assessments for said cost of maintenance and <br /> <br />operation on all lots or parcels of property within the District. Said <br /> <br />report sets forth the amounts to be provided in the budget for <br /> <br />maintenance and operation, a description of each lot or parcel of <br /> <br />property in the maintenance district, by a legal description, <br /> <br />assessor's parcel number or other description sufficient to identify <br /> <br />the same, and the amount of assessment to be levied for the fiscal year <br /> <br />1985-1986 against each lot or parcel of property.
