Shower wall was <br />constructed with improper material <br />and is mildewed. No ventilation <br />is provided. No handle is provided <br />on the shower door. <br /> <br />UHC SEC. 1001 (b) 1 <br />Inadequate Sanitation <br /> <br />Water closet cover is missing. <br /> <br />UHC SEC. 1001 (c) 2 <br />Structural Hazards <br /> <br />Subfloor in bathroom is <br />deteriorated. <br /> <br />UHC SEC. 1001 (i) <br />Fire Hazard <br /> <br />Area over gas range in kitchen is <br />wood material covered with grease <br />and is approximately 1811 from <br />burners. Use of this appliance <br />should cease to prevent a fire <br />hazard. <br /> <br />UHC SEC. 1001 (k) <br />Hazardous or Unsanitary <br />Premises <br /> <br />Bicycles, furniture and other <br />flammable materials are stored <br />in the rear portion of this attic. <br /> <br />UHC SEC. 1001 (0) <br />Improper Occupancy <br /> <br />This unit is substandard for living <br />purposes and such use should be <br />abated immediately. <br /> <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br /> <br />The accessory structure on this property, previously garage <br />and storage, is seriously dilapidated. One portion of the <br />structure is used for sleeping. On the date of this inspection, <br />the area was completely furnished with wall hangings, etc. Power <br />is supplied through extension cords from laundry room (converted <br />to bedroom). The other portion of this structure stores paint, <br />spray equipment, gasoline, and auto parts. Other areas of this <br />structure were padlocked and inaccessible. The above-described <br />uses are in violation of Housing, Building and Fire Codes. The <br />entire structure must be abated immediately. <br /> <br />Building and Housing Code Violations - Review by R. C. Building <br />Department <br /> <br />ELECTRICAL <br /> <br />A single service panel and meter for two residential <br />units. <br /> <br />Extension cords in lieu of permanent wiring throughout <br />both units. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />9919 <br />
