<br />DAS: f"- <br />DAS : s.. <br /> <br />2/25/87 <br />3/03/87R <br /> <br />(#19) <br />(#19) <br /> <br />ORIGlNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br />- - -~.'- <br /> <br />] 0449 <br /> <br />MAR <br /> <br />9 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE DESIGNATION OF A PORTION <br />OF ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS WITHIN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT vlITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO RELATING TO <br />FUNDING RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM <br />DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br />ON ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is authorized pursuant to <br /> <br />Sections 1800 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code to lay <br /> <br />out, acquire and construct any section or portion of any street <br /> <br />or highway within the territorial jurisdiction of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo <br /> <br />have, pursuant to Sections 1700 et seq. of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, may declare, (subject to the consent of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City), that Alameda de las Pulgas between Brewster <br /> <br />Avenue and southeasterly for three hundred (300) feet of Brewster <br /> <br />Avenue, situate within the territory of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />(as more particularly depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein as if set out in full <br /> <br />herein), to be a county highway of the County of San Mateo for <br /> <br />the purposes of constructing storm drainage improvements and <br /> <br />street reconstruction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the portion of <br /> <br />Alameda de las Pulgas described in Exhibit "A", be declared and <br /> <br />established as a county highway of the County of San Mateo for <br /> <br />the purposes of constructing storm drainage improvements and <br /> <br />street reconstruction; and <br /> <br />1 044 9 <br />
