<br />DAS:E" <br />DAS : Sh <br /> <br />2/25/87 <br />3/03/87R <br /> <br />(#19) <br />(#19) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is willing to implement the <br />abovementioned improvements by entering into an agreement with <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City pursuant to which the City of Redwood <br /> <br />agrees and consents to bear fifty-six percent (56%) of the <br /> <br />construction costs of said drainage improvements and agrees to <br /> <br />pay its portion of said street reconstruction costs, estimated to <br /> <br />be Forty-four Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($44,000.00). City of <br /> <br />Redwood City also agrees to pay its portion of engineering and <br /> <br />inspection costs, as well as to take possession of and maintain <br /> <br />those portions of the abovementioned improvements that will be <br /> <br />constructed within the City of Redwood City's right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the agreement describing the responsibilities of <br /> <br />the City and County of San Mateo has been presented to this <br /> <br />Council for its approval; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the agreement by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the County of San Mateo, a copy which is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is made for <br /> <br />the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
