<br />nES:djk 3/13/87 (#19) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10457 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 1 6 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF <br />NECESSITY WITH RESPECT TO EXERCISE OF THE POWER OF <br />EMINENT DOMAIN, AND SETTING HEARING THEREON <br /> <br />(SEAPORT BOULEVARD LANDSCAPING PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is authorized to exercise <br /> <br />the power of eminent domain for the acquisition of real property <br /> <br />for public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that certain real property hereinafter described is <br /> <br />necessary for the public purpose of acquiring, constructing, <br /> <br />installing, maintaining, replacing, and repairing landscaping and <br /> <br />appurtenances <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />connection <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />reconstruction <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />improvement of Seaport Boulevard in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby declares its intention to adopt a <br /> <br />resolution of necessity pursuant to the provisions of Sections <br /> <br />1245.210 et seq. of the California Code of Civil Procedure with <br /> <br />respect to the exercise of the power of eminent domain for the <br /> <br />acquisition of an easement for landscaping purposes in all that <br /> <br />certain real property more particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />of the Notice attached hereto, marked Exhibit "I", and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. Monday, April 6, 1987 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. or as soon <br /> <br />thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, 401 Marshall <br /> <br />O{!57 <br />
