The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Area 'A' Storm Drain <br /> <br />Repairs" by and between the City of Redwood City and Power <br /> <br />Engineering for the performance of said work in accordance with <br /> <br />the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />4. Any informality in the aforementioned bid of Power <br /> <br />Engineering is hereby waived, and, upon execution by Power <br /> <br />Engineering of the contract for the performance of said repairs in <br /> <br />accordance with the bid documents therefor, the City Clerk is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to return to Dalton Construction <br /> <br />Company, the bid security furnished by Dalton Construction <br /> <br />Company. Upon execution by Power Engineering of the contract for <br /> <br />the performance of said repairs, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute a release or other document (in form <br /> <br />approved by the City Attorney), if requested, relieving Dalton <br /> <br />Construction and/or its surety from any further obligation of each <br /> <br />of them, respectively, arising out of the submittal and acceptance <br /> <br />of said company's bid. <br /> <br />5. Resolution No. 10684 entitled "Resolution Awarding Bid <br /> <br />for Area 'A' Storm Drain Repairs; and Authorizing Execution of <br /> <br />Agreement for Said Work; and Directing Return of Security <br /> <br />Deposits" adopted November 16, 1987, by this Council is hereby <br /> <br />rescinded. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
