<br />ST.7C : d j k 03 / 24 / 8 8 ( # 3 6 ) <br /> <br />actions, damages, or claims to which said City may be subjected <br /> <br />by reason of said construction and/or maintenance of said <br /> <br />improvements or encroachment or use thereof permitted hereunder. <br /> <br />Permittee shall further release and hold City harmless for <br /> <br />any destruction to or alteration of Permittee's improvements by <br /> <br />Ci ty, or its employees, agents or contractors, (except as such <br /> <br />destruction or alteration is caused by willful act or gross <br /> <br />negligence) in the exercise of City's ownership rights to the <br /> <br />real property adjacent to and abutting the Subject Premises. <br /> <br />9. INSURANCE. Permittee shall secure, carry and maintain <br /> <br />at all times during the period covered by this revocable permit, <br /> <br />at Permittee's sole cost and expense, <br /> <br />commercial general <br /> <br />liability and property damage insurance, which insurance shall be <br /> <br />in the following minimum amounts: <br /> <br />(a) $1,000,000 for injury or death of anyone person <br />and $1,000,000 for anyone occurrence; <br /> <br />(b) Property damage <br />$1,000,000. <br /> <br />insurance <br /> <br />in the amount of <br /> <br />A certificate or certificates evidencing the maintenance of <br /> <br />the required insurance shall be deposited with the City Clerk <br /> <br />prior to any use of the Subject Premises by Permittee. In <br /> <br />addition to the aforesaid certificates, the Permittee shall file <br /> <br />with the City Clerk the following endorsements: <br /> <br />(a) Endorsement precluding cancellation or reduction <br />in coverage before the expiration of 30 days after <br />City shall have received any notification thereof <br />from the insurance carrier; <br /> <br />(b) Endorsement naming the City of Redwood City, its <br />Council, officers, boards, commissions, agents and <br />employees as additional insureds; <br /> <br />(c) Standard cross liability endorsement; <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />10748 <br />
