<br />DES:d;k l2/08/88 (Ol3/24) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0947 <br /> <br />DEe 1 2 1988 <br />.oRIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND <br />MAINTENANCE OF A SCULPTURE ON CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br />ADJACENT TO TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Shores, Inc., proposes to install and <br /> <br />maintain four bronze sculptures in the form of birds near the <br /> <br />access to property owned by said proponent; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one such sculpture is proposed to be installed on <br /> <br />Ci ty-owned property in the vicinity of Twin Dolphin Drive, a <br /> <br />public right-of-way in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting the installation <br /> <br />and maintenance of such sculpture, subject to certain specified <br /> <br />terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain revocable encroachment permit by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Redwood Shores, Inc., in the form of <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute <br /> <br />said permit, <br /> <br />substantially in the form of Exhibit "A", for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10947 <br />
