<br />DES:d <br /> <br />03/16/89 (036/24) <br /> <br />Government Code section 6500 et seq., which Authority will act to <br /> <br />implement and coordinate TSM regulations among the member <br /> <br />agencies of said Authority, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to become a member of said <br /> <br /> <br />Authority; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled, "Joint Powers <br /> <br /> <br />Agreement Establishing the Intercity Transportation Systems <br /> <br />Management (TSM) Authority", in the form of the copy attached <br /> <br />hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br /> <br />herein, establishing the Intercity Transportation Systems <br /> <br />Management Authority for the purpose of implementing efforts <br /> <br /> <br />among cities signatory thereto to mitigate traffic congestion by <br /> <br />coordinating and administering uniform TSM regulations among said <br /> <br />cities, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are <br /> <br /> <br />hereby authorized to execute, and to attest thereto, <br /> <br /> <br />respectively, said agreement substantially in the form of Exhibit <br /> <br />A for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Upon execution of the aforesaid agreement, the City <br /> <br />Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to circulate said <br /> <br /> <br />executed agreement among the member cities of the Authority <br /> <br />established thereby, for execution. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11U01 <br />
