<br />DES:dj}- 08/2l/89 <br /> <br />(014/26) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 22, 1988, following three public <br /> <br />meetings, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors authorized <br /> <br /> <br />transmi ttal of the draft plan to each city in the County for <br /> <br /> <br />consideration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 13, 1989 and March 20, 1989, the <br /> <br /> <br />content of the draft plan was presented to and considered by this <br /> <br /> <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council submitted written comments on the <br /> <br /> <br />content of the draft plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 6, 1989, the San Mateo County Board of <br /> <br /> <br />Supervisors held a hearing to consider the written comments <br /> <br /> <br />received from the cities, and reauthorized the draft plan, with <br /> <br />revisions, for final consideration by each city; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />That certain draft plan entitled "San Mateo County Hazardous <br /> <br /> <br />Waste Management Plan", as authorized by the San Mateo County <br /> <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors on June 6, 1989, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />this Council does hereby accept the policies and implementation <br /> <br /> <br />program of the draft plan, including relevant siting and cost <br /> <br />implications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />11135 <br />
