<br />DES:d~ 08/16/89 (011/26) <br /> <br />described in Exhibit B (Parcel II) for street and public utility <br />purposes and to grant to said City an easement in and to that <br />real property described in Exhibit C (designated Parcel III) for <br />public utility purposes in exchange for the relinquishment by the <br />City of the non-access rights, and the vacating of said rights in <br />and to that non-access line more particularly described in <br />Exhibit A (designated Parcel I); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Charter <br />Section 3-~(h) the City Assessor has determined that the value of <br />the property to be received by the City (Parcels II and III <br />designated in Exhibits Band C, respectively), equals or exceeds <br />the value of the property interests to be relinquished by the <br />City (Parcel I, Exhibit A); <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby approves and authorizes the City <br />Clerk to accept a grant of easement (in form approved by the City <br />Attorney) for public street and utility purposes in and to all <br />that certain real property described as Parcel II in Exhibit B <br />hereof, and to accept a grant of easement (in form approved by <br />the City Attorney) for public utilities purposes in and to all <br />that certain real property described as Parcel III in Exhibit C <br />in exchange for the relinquishment by quitclaim deed by the City <br />of all its right, title and interest in and to that certain non- <br />access strip over and across Parcel I described in Exhibit A, and <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11144 <br />
