Any artifacts discovered during excavation <br /> <br />shall be handled by a qualified archaeologist <br /> <br />and turned over immediately to a government <br /> <br />agency, to insure that they will be made <br /> <br />available for public display. <br /> <br />3. Rationale and Facts Supporting Findings. There <br />is little likelihood that cultural resources will be <br /> <br />found in the Amendment Area but it is appropriate to <br /> <br />provide a mechanism for their proper disposition in <br /> <br />the event that a discovery should occur. The <br /> <br />mitigations outlined in the findings are appropriate <br /> <br />and acceptable to the Native American Heritage <br /> <br />Commission. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Mitigation <br /> <br />Monitoring <br /> <br />Responsibility. <br /> <br />Responsibility for mitigation monitoring shall be <br /> <br />with the Planning Commission, and the Redevelopment <br /> <br />Director, and handled on a project by project basis. <br /> <br />B.
