<br />CWM:djm J1/06/89 (098/#25) <br />CWM:djm /29/89R <br /> <br />consultations with Amendment Area and existing Project Area <br /> <br />( II Amended <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />Area II ) <br /> <br />property <br /> <br />owners, <br /> <br />residents <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />businesses, an Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") on the Second <br /> <br />Amendment, the report of the county fiscal officer and the <br /> <br />Agency's analysis thereof, a summary of consultations with taxing <br /> <br />agencies, and a neighborhood impact report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an EIR on the project has been prepared and <br /> <br />circulated pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> <br />("CEQA"), the State CEQA Guidelines and the Redevelopment <br /> <br />Agency's procedures for implementation of CEQA and the State CEQA <br /> <br />Guidelines (liThe Agency's Procedures"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 20, 1989, a duly noticed joint public <br /> <br />hearing was conducted pursuant to Section 33361 of the Health & <br /> <br />Safety Code by the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City at which all interested persons were <br /> <br />given an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and the Agency by concurrent <br /> <br />resolution have certified that the Final EIR was completed in <br /> <br />compliance with CEQA, the State CEQA Guidelines, and the Agency's <br /> <br />Procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and the Agency have reviewed and <br /> <br />considered the information contained in the Final EIR for the <br /> <br />Second Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final EIR for the Second Amendment identifies <br /> <br />several potential significant environmental effects of the Second <br /> <br />Amendment; and <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11190 <br />
