<br />01/11/2010 <br /> <br />1. Minor Event - Fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event date and <br />no more than six months in advance <br /> <br />2. Major Event - Sixty (60) calendar days prior to the event date and no <br />more than nine months in advance. <br /> <br />3. Exclusive Use - Sixty (60) calendar days prior to the event date and no <br />more than nine months in advance. <br /> <br />SECTION 4: NOTIFICATION TO THE APPLICANT <br /> <br />A preliminary review of a completed application for a Courthouse Square Event Permit <br />will be provided to the applicant as follows: <br /> <br />A. Minor Event, the City will notify the Applicant within five calendar days of receipt <br />of a completed application and non-refundable application fee. The application is <br />preliminarily approved subject to receipt of the non-refundable permit fee and <br />refundable cleaning and damage deposit. <br /> <br />B. Major Event, the City will notify the Applicant within ten calendar days of receipt <br />of a completed application and non-refundable application fee. The application is <br />preliminarily approved subject to receipt of a non-refundable permit fee and <br />refundable cleaning and damage deposit. The Applicant may be requested to <br />attend a pre-event meeting to discuss the proposed event with the Courthouse <br />Square Event team. Topics to be addressed may include: the number of <br />portable toilets, waste and recycling containers, medical personnel, security <br />personnel, equipment, relevant supplemental permits, ABC permits, street- <br />closure permits, County Health permits and logistical support. <br /> <br />C. Exclusive Use Event, the City will notify the Applicant within 15 calendar days of <br />receipt of a completed application and non-refundable application fee. The <br />application is preliminarily approved subject to receipt of a non-refundable permit <br />fee and refundable cleaning and damage deposit. The Applicant will be <br />requested to attend a pre-event meeting to discuss the proposed event with the <br />Courthouse Square Event team. Topics to be addressed may include: the <br />number of portable toilets, waste and recycling containers, medical personnel, <br />security personnel, equipment, relevant supplemental permits, ABC permits, <br />street-closure permits, County Health permits and logistical support. <br /> <br />SECTION 5: FINANCIAL AND LEGAL RESPONSIBIL TV <br /> <br />The Permittee, its authorized representative and/or co-promoters cited in the approved <br />application will be held financially and legally responsible for all expenses incurred by <br />the City in connection with the event. If any charges remain unpaid within 60 days of <br />receipt of the City's invoice, the Permittee (individual and/or organization) may forfeit the <br />ability to rent Courthouse Square or all other City managed facilities in the future. <br /> <br />Page 3 of21 <br /> <br />Admin.
