shall be filed, processed and heard in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of this <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> Section 16. Section 24.34.221 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations of the enforcement officer regarding construction noise permits is hereby <br /> amended to read as foilows: <br /> 24.34. - EXCEPTIONS; PERMITS: <br /> Upon a showing by a property owner to the enforcement officer that a diligent <br /> investigation of available noise abatement techniques indicates that compiiance with the <br /> requirements of this Division would be impracticable or unreasonable, the enforcement <br /> officer may issue a permit allowing an exception to the provisions contained in all or any <br /> portion of this Division subject to such reasonable and appropriate conditions as the <br /> enforcement officer may impose, including, but not limited to, a compliance schedule, <br /> restrictions upon construction methods or use of machinery, equipment or devices, <br /> permission to engage in construction activities on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays <br /> only between the hours of nine o'clock (9:00) A.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) P.M., or <br /> implementation of such other practices as the enforcement officer deems appropriate. <br /> Any such permit shall be effective for a period not to exceed six (6) months and shall be <br /> of such reasonably short duration as the enforcement officer shall determine giving due <br /> regard to the extent and the complexity of the construction to which it pertains. <br /> Any person aggrieved by the decision of the enforcement officer in issuing or denying <br /> the issuance of a permit pursuant to this Section may appeal the enforcement officer's <br /> decision to the Community Development Director. Such appeal shall be filed, processed <br /> and heard in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 77. Section 27.56 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations of the Building Official regarding variances to sewer connections is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> 27.56. - APPEALS: <br /> Any person denied a variance pursuant to Section 27.55 by virtue of the failure of the <br /> Building Official to find the facts required by subsection B of Section 27.55 may, within <br /> fifteen (15) days after the date of the notice of such determination of the Building Official, <br /> appeal the denial thereof to the Board of Building Appeals in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 18. Section 27A.27 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations of the Stormwater Project Coordinator regarding assessments and abatement <br /> orders for stormwater discharge is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 27A.27. - APPEALS: <br /> A. Stormwater Project Coordinator: Any discharger affected by any decision, action, <br /> or determination, including assessments and abatement orders, made in <br /> interpreting or implementing the provisions of this Chapter, or any permit issued <br /> hereunder, may file with the stormwater project coordinator a written request for <br /> review within ten (10) days of such decision, action, or determination, setting <br /> forth in detail the facts supporting the request.
