Written Appeal to Director or His/Her Designee: The stormwater project <br /> coordinator's original decision, action of determination, and action taken after <br /> review may be appealed to the Director or his/her designee by the discharger <br /> affected by filing a written appeal with the Director or his/her designee within <br /> fifteen (15) days of the date of the notice of the decision of the stormwater project <br /> coordinator. The written appeal shall be filed, processed and heard in <br /> accordance with Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 19. Section 28.7 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations of the Police Chief regarding identification permits for peddiers is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> 28.7. -APPEAL FROM DENIAL: <br /> Upon the disapproval of the application required by Section 28.4 for an identification <br /> permit to engage in the business of soliciting or peddling, as a result of the findings of <br /> Chief of Police as required by Section 28.6, any person aggrieved by the action of the <br /> Chief of Police, and the denial of the application for a permit or a license shall have the <br /> right of appeal to the City Manager by filing a written appeal within fifteen (15) days of <br /> the date of the notice of decision. The appeal shall be filed, processed and heard in <br /> accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 20. Section 28.17 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of <br /> determinations of the Police Chief regarding identification permits for charitable sales and <br /> solicitations is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 28.17. - APPEAL FROM DENIAL OF PERMIT: <br /> Any applicant desiring to appeal from the action of the Police Department in denying a <br /> permit under this Article may appeal the decision to the City Manager by filing a written <br /> appeal within fifteen (15) days of the date of the notice of the decision. Such appeal <br /> shall be filed, processed and heard in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of this <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> Section 21. Section 29.8 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of City <br /> Engineer orders to repair sidewalks is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 29.8. - FILING OF APPEAL; HEARING OF APPEAL: <br /> The owner of property posted with a notice to repair waikways as required by Section <br /> 29.6 may appeal to the City Council and show cause why the work should not be done <br /> or why the time therefor should be extended. Such appeal shall be in writing and shall be <br /> filed, processed and heard in accordance with Chapter 1 of this Municipal Code. <br /> Section 22. Section 29.10 of the Redwood City Municipal Code regarding appeal of City <br /> Engineer orders to repair sidewalks is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 29.10. - WHEN TO BE MADE; WHEN ORIGINAL NOTICE MODIFIED: <br /> Unless the repair of walkways required in the notice required by Section 29.4 shall be <br /> commenced by the owner within thirty (30) days from the date of posting notice as <br /> provided in Section 29.6 and diligently prosecuted to completion, or in case of an appeal <br /> ATTY/ORD.362/AMENDING MUNI CODE APPEAL <br /> REV: 12/13/11 <br /> Page 9 of 17 <br />
