1/lO/00 <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Section 25.1.16 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "~. (A) It shall be unlawful for any person to <br /> consume any alcoholic beverage or to possess or keep on or about <br /> his or her person any bottle, can, or other receptacle containing <br /> any alcoholic beverage which has been opened, or the seal thereof <br /> has been broken, or the contents thereof have been partially <br /> removed, in any park, park building, or recreation area except in <br /> the following park buildings and as except as provided in <br /> subdivision (B): <br /> <br /> (i) Community Activities Building; <br /> (ii) Fair Oaks Community Center; <br /> (iii) Red Morton Recreation Center; <br /> (iv) Veterans Memorial Senior Center; and <br /> (v) Sandpiper Community Center. <br /> <br /> The Director shall cause appropriate signs to be posted to <br /> <br /> designate the aforementioned park buildings, or areas therein, <br /> where alcoholic beverages may be consumed and bottles, cans, or <br /> other receptacles containing alcoholic beverages may be opened for <br /> such consumption. <br /> <br /> (B) Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision (A), upon <br /> <br /> the prior written approval of the Director, alcoholic beverages may <br /> <br />Ord-096 3 <br />f/sh/sh/redwood/cou ncil <br />10/12/99; 01/10/00R <br />FXS:rg 2185 <br /> <br /> <br />
