I. The aforesaid conditions constitute an emergency endangering the <br /> <br />public health, safety, and welfare requiring enactment of an emergency measure. <br /> Section 2. Prohibited Acts. From and after the operative date hereof <br /> and so long as this ordinance shall remain in effect, no building permits, use <br /> permits, architectural permits, planned development permits, zoning variances, <br /> zoning permits, subdivisions, or any other land use entitlements shall be issued <br /> or approved for construction or development of new office buildings, expansion <br /> of existing office buildings, conversion of existing buildings to office use, or <br /> occupancy of vacant buildings for office use, irrespective of the kind or nature of <br /> office use proposed, on parcels of property one acre or larger in area (whether <br /> as individual parcels or by aggregation of parcels) within the Affected Districts. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Determination of Size. For purposes of this ordinance, the <br />determination of the size of a parcel of real property shall be based upon the size <br />of the parcel as established by subdivision map, metes and bounds, or any other <br />means of description contained in any conveyance of title thereof, or any other <br />interest therein on file and recorded in the office of the County Recorder, County <br />of San Mateo, as of July 1, 2000, or (if not recorded) dated on or before said <br />date. No parcel of real property shall be divided by lot-line adjustment, <br />preliminary map, subdivision, minor subdivision, or by any other means in <br />avoidance of the determination of size thereof in accordance with the foregoing <br />provisions, nor, irrespective of the foregoing date, shall parcels be established or <br />aggregated in avoidance of the applicability of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Ord-114 3 <br />F:lsharedlredwoodlcouncil <br />DES:rg <br />o7/18/00 <br />7124100RR <br /> <br /> 2198 <br /> <br /> <br />
