I Area shall provide for flood plain management consistent with <br />; ¡ City policies and standards and the requirements of State and <br />¡ Federal agencies. Perimeter levee segments have been con- <br />, , <br />I ' structed in conjunction with development of the existing Ma- <br />j I rina Pointe Townhomes and the VIllas at Bair Island apartments. <br />I Development in the Precise Plan Area shall complete the flood <br />I ¡ protection system established by the City for the area, integrat- <br />j' ing new flood protection measures with existing levees. How- <br />~ J ever, the manner in which this integration is accomplished is <br />I flexible, consistent with FEMA requirements. A variety of flood <br />11 I protection measures may be employed, subject to City approval. <br />I These may include levees, flood walls, fill, and/or a combination <br />I of measures consistent with the City's flood plain management, <br />I I development, and community design objectives.
