11/19/2007 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 14821 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE 885 WOODSIDE ROAD PRECISE PLAN WHEREAS, on December 2,2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City ("City Council" or "Council") adopted Ordinance No. 1130-315, to permit the creation of Planned Community Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act regulations, on November 28, 2006, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the 885 Woodside Road Precise Plan (the "Precise Plan"); and on September 18, 2007 considered an Addendum to the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration, as well as the adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration, prior to making a decision on the project (CEQA Guidelines Section 15164 [d]). WHEREAS, on November 28, 2006, the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the Precise Plan; and WHEREAS, on September 18, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve the revised Precise Plan, which shall include and incorporate therein by reference the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Checklist; and WHEREAS, on September 18, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to the City Council that the existing General Commercial-Residential Overlay (CG-R) zoning district for the real property located at 885 Woodside Road be rezoned to Planned Community (P) zoning district; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission as to the Precise Plan, as revised, and has considered evidence, including the Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration, received at a duly notice public hearing related thereto. 11/ Atty/Reso/Reso.1749 111507 14821 Muff # 613
