1/23/2006 1. In accordance with Article III of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, (lithe "CA TV Ordinance"), the City of Redwood City ("Grantor") hereby grants a non-exclusive franchise to Comcast of California, IX, Inc. located at 1205 Chrysler Drive, Menlo Park, California 94025, to construct, operate and maintain a cable television system within the City of Redwood City, California, subject to all provisions, terms and requirements of the CATV Ordinance heretofore or hereafter enacted, and to all requirements of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the franchise agreement hereinafter referenced, the Code of the City of Redwood City, and all ordinances, rules, regulations, and specifications of the City of Redwood City heretofore or hereafter enacted or established. That certain franchise agreement entitled, "Cable System Franchise Agreement between the City of Redwood City, California and Comcast of California IX, Inc." (form 813903v4) by and between Comcast of California IX, Inc. and the City of Redwood City, California, a chartered municipal corporation of the State of California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City. 2.
