<br />7A <br />Page 152 <br /> <br />A IT ACHMENT H <br />TEXT AND EXHIBIT REVISIONS TO DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN <br /> <br />Note: These are proposed recommendations from the Planning Commission and/or City staff. <br />Council may modify or make other changes to the Precise Plan which will then be incorporated <br />upon final City Council review and approval of the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />Purpose: (page 9) Second paragraph: delete sentence: In the instance of <br />conflicting regulations with other municipal planning documents containing <br />policies for land use and development in the Downtown Precise Plan <br />Area, the Downtown Precise Plan shall prevail. Replace with: In the event <br />of conflicts with reaulations and policies for land use and development in <br />the DPP area. the DPP .shall auide the decision makina process for 29 <br />resolution. The Community Development Director will have discretion to <br />take into consideration the vision and principles of the Precise Plan and <br />guide the process for resolution of conflicts. Article 52 (Planned <br />Community District) should also be amended to include some similar <br />wording. That will occur at a future date. <br /> <br />Auto Traffic and Circulation: (page 105) Insert at the end of Section 3.6 <br />Precise Plan Implementation Actions: a) Monitor traffic alona Brewster <br />Avenue to determine if traffic will substantiallv increase due to 12, 14 <br />implementation of the Downtown Precise Plan. If traffic does increase. <br />then evaluate ways to slow down traffic utilizina traffic calmina devices. <br /> <br />b) Monitor parkina In the adiacent Neiahborhoods to determine if parkina <br />permits are required to reaulate additional visitor parkina resultina from <br />the implementation of Precise Plan and Downtown Parklna Plan. 13 <br /> <br />c) City will work toaether with the Joint Powers Board (JPB) to determine <br />appropriate street alianment and improvement to arid connection around <br />the Cal train station and adioinina bus station. <br /> <br />33 <br /> <br />Historic Structures and Process: (page 35) Add new Section 2.2.7 <br />(Relation to Historic Resources). <br /> <br />2,30 <br /> <br />Ord 2308 <br />muff #613 <br />
