Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> to be discharged constitutes a hazard to, or <br /> an unreasonable burden upon, such operation, <br /> or otherwise causes or may cause, or <br /> significantly contributes, or may contribute, <br /> to a violation of Authority's NPDES Permit; <br /> or <br /> (b) The limitations set forth in Section 27.12 <br /> may be unreasonably restrictive when applied <br /> to a specific User or User Category and the <br /> proposed discharge, if allowed, when added to <br /> the total amount authorized by existing <br /> permits issued pursuant to these regulations <br /> will not cause the amount of any of the <br /> following Wastewater Constituents to exceed <br /> the aggregate maximum allowable amount <br /> respectively hereinafter established <br /> therefor: <br /> Aggregate Maximum Permitted <br />Wastewater Constituent Amounts in Pounds per day (lbs/day) <br /> (i) Arsenic 11.4 <br /> (ii) Cadmium 6.11 <br /> (iii) Chromium 31. 3 <br /> (iv) Copper 19.9 <br /> (v) Lead 22.7 <br /> (vi) Mercury 0.915 <br /> (vii) Nickel 6.82 <br /> (viii) Silver 12.5 <br /> (ix) Zinc 113.0 <br /> (x) Phenolic Compounds 385.0 <br /> (xi) Cyanide 5.25 <br /> (xii) Polycyclic Aromatic <br /> Hydrocarbons 15.2 <br />(c) Notwithstanding the provisions of (a) and (b) <br /> above, in no event shall limitations established <br /> hereunder permit an Interfering Discharge, or a <br /> Pass Through, or allow a violation of a <br /> Categorical Standard. <br /> "ARTICLE III. WASTEWATER VOLUME <br /> DETERMINATION <br /> "Section 27.20.
