Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

A Wastewater discharge permit may <br />be issued to any User, upon application therefor, who <br />(1) requests that Charges and fees established pursuant <br />to this Chapter or Authority's Regulations be based <br />upon an estimated volume of Wastewater discharged, or <br />to be discharged, into the Sewerage Facilities, or (2) <br />establishes to the satisfaction of Authority's Manager <br />that Wastewater proposed to be discharged from such <br />User's Premises into the Sewerage Facilities has, or <br />will have, Wastewater strength characteristics less <br />than the normal range for the User Classification to <br />which such User is assigned, by reason of Pretreatment, <br />process changes, or other factors affecting such <br />Wastewater Constituents and Characteristics, or (3) <br />requests or requires a permit pursuant to the <br />provisions of Sections 27.10(b), 27.11. , or 27.14. <br /> "Section 27.31.3. Applications for Mandatory <br />Wastewater Discharge Permits. Applications for <br />mandatory permits required under Section 27.31.1 shall <br />be made to Authority's Manager in writing in such form <br />as Authority's Manager shall require, and shall set <br />forth the following: <br />(a) The name and address of the applicant/User and the <br /> business name or other designation by which the <br /> Premises or facility located thereon to which the <br /> application pertains is known, the address of said <br /> Premises or facility (if different than the name <br /> and address of the applicant), and the name or <br /> names of the manager or other person in charge of <br /> said facility or Premises; <br /> 25 <br />- _ .._·"".N__·,.~·····,_."_..,,,.·,.·,_".. ~'~""'_';'_~~_"~'___.__~~__~___'_"""". _'_'_~'__"'·.~_A__'__"·__·'______.~ <br />
