Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Special Agreements. The <br />provisions of these regulations shall not be deemed a <br />limitation upon the Authority or the City to enter into <br />agreements, and to recover costs relating thereto, with <br />any User relating to treatment, Pretreatment, or other <br />matters in furtherance of the provisions of this <br />Chapter or Authority's Regulations and the purposes <br />thereof, and no t inconsistent therewith, when unique, <br />unusual or extraordinary circumstances require such <br />special agreements; provided, however, that no such <br />agreement shall authorize an extension of the final <br />dates for compliance with required federal standards <br />nor waive such standards. <br /> "ARTICLE V. PUBLIC AGENCY CONTRACTS. <br /> "Section 27.40. Authorization. The City may <br />contract with any public agency, district or political <br />subdivision of the state for the furnishing of sewage <br />collection and disposal services to such agency by the <br />City, whether such agency, district or political <br />subdivision includes territory within or without the <br />City's limits. <br /> 39 <br /> ~'^ - ..-..---.... .....-,.-------.------..------..-,,---- <br />
