Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Any contract made in <br />accordance with the preceding Section may provide for a <br />different schedule of Charges than those established <br />pursuant to the provisions of Article IX hereof; <br />provided, however, that no such schedule shall <br />establish charges which yield less than the actual cost <br />to the City for the furnishing of such services, <br />including the pro-rata cost to the City of bond <br />servicing, maintenance, operation, repair and <br />administration of the City's ownership interest in the <br />Sewerage Facilities as are utilized by such public <br />agency, district or political subdivision. <br />Additionally, such charges shall provide for the <br />payment to the City of that pro-rata portion, if any, <br />of the cost of the treatment works of Authority which <br />is allocable to the treatment of industrial Users of <br />the Sewerage Facilities served by such contracting <br />public agency, district or political subdivision. <br /> "Section 27.42. Compliance Requirements. All <br />contracts made in accordance with this Article V, or <br />Users served by such public agency, district or <br />political subdivision entering into an agreement <br />pursuant to this Article, shall be subject to the <br />provisions of Article II, III, and IV of this Chapter <br />and to Authority's Regulations. <br /> "Section 27.43.
