Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Signature Required. The <br />application required by the preceding Section shall be <br />signed by the person who will be engaging in the <br />business of cleaning chemical toilets, or by an <br />authorized officer, if a corporation, or by the <br />managing partner, if a partnership. <br /> "Section 27.76. Examination. Registration shall <br />be issued only after a satisfactory examination of the <br />applicant by a duly authorized representative of the <br />Health Department covering the equipment to be used, <br />the applicant's knowledge of sanitary principles and of <br />the laws and ordinances affecting human health or <br />nuisances, and the reliability of the applicant in <br />observing sanitary laws, ordinances and directions, and <br />in selecting individuals who shall be employed to clean <br />out chemical toilets without endangering human health <br />or comfort; and, further, only after examination of the <br />place and manner of disposal of the cleanings proposed <br />by such applicant. <br /> "Section 27.77. Action by Health Department.
