Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> Plus an additional monthly charge of: $1.69 per <br /> 100 cubic feet of Waste or Wastewater discharged <br /> or deposited into the Sewerage Facilities in <br /> excess of 1,000 cubic feet, $0.160 per pound of <br /> suspended solids discharged and $0.170 per pound <br /> of biochemical oxygen demand discharged. <br /> (ii) Minimum monthly rate, effective July 1, 1994 <br /> - $16.92, <br /> Plus an additional monthly charge of: $1. 78 per <br /> 100 cubic feet of Waste or Wastewater discharged <br /> or deposited into the Sewerage Facilities in <br /> excess of 1,000 cubic feet, $0.160 per pound of <br /> suspended solids discharged and $0.180 per pound <br /> of biochemical oxygen demand discharged. <br /> (b) User Categories. The determination of the <br /> appropriate User category for a particular Premises <br /> shall be made by City's Director based upon the Waste <br /> or Wastewater Constituents or Characteristics of such <br /> User, including such factors as biochemical oxygen <br /> demand, suspended solids, and volume, consistent with <br /> the categories hereinabove in Subdivision (a) <br /> established. The User category for any particular <br /> Premises may be revised, changed or redesignated by <br /> Authority's Manager with the consent of City's Director <br /> upon a determination by them that the Waste or <br /> Wastewater characteristics of the User of such Premises <br /> have changed in such manner, or to such an extent, as <br /> to justify such reclassification. Any User, permittee, <br /> applicant or other Person aggrieved by a determination <br /> of City's Director made pursuant hereto may appeal such <br /> determination to Authority's Commission in accordance <br /> with the provisions of Section 27.130, et seq. ; <br /> provided, that references in said Section to <br /> 62 <br />
