Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:dft 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> the construction of a larger sewer main than would have <br /> been constructed without the City's contribution. This <br /> Subdivision shall not be applicable to portions of the <br /> Sewerage Facilities upon which proceeds from any bonds <br /> issued by or in connection with a general improvement <br /> district are expended. <br /> For purposes of this Subdivision, every public <br /> sewer constructed prior to January 1, 1960, shall be <br /> presumed to have been installed at the sole cost of the <br /> adjoining property owners. City's Director shall <br /> maintain an accurate record of all public sewers <br /> installed subsequent to January 1, 1960, for the <br /> purpose of establishing a record of those sewers or <br /> specific portions of sewers, which have been <br /> constructed at the City's expense, for which the fee <br /> herein established provides reimbursement. <br /> In the event two public sewers are installed <br /> adjacent to each other in any public right-of-way, one <br /> of which is installed at the City's expense and the <br /> other at the expense of a subdivider, assessment <br /> district, or other private source, and City's Director <br /> determines that a connection should be made to the <br /> sewer constructed at the City's expense, the fee <br /> required by this Subdivision shall not be applicable. <br /> "Section 27.104.
