Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

<br /> DES:dft 12/17/90 (028/8) <br /> DES:d£t 6/11/93R (016/11) <br /> 6/24/93R <br /> 7/22/93R <br /> the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars <br /> ($2,550.00) for a six-inch diameter Sewer Lateral, <br /> whichever is appropriate, in addition to connection <br /> charges in Section 27.101. <br /> "Section 27.103. Special Benefit Reimbursement <br /> Fee. In the event the City constructs or causes the <br /> construction of any public sewer other than a <br /> replacement sewer which serves properties located on <br /> both sides of the street or pub lic right-of-way in <br /> which such sewer line is located, from monies in the <br /> sewer fund or from any general funds of the City <br /> (including the proceeds of any bond issue for which the <br /> general credit of the City is obligated), a fee in the <br /> amount of Two Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars <br /> ($2,650.00) shall be paid for each connection to that <br /> portion of the Sewerage Facilities so constructed; <br /> provided, that in any case where City's Director <br /> determines that any sewer line, or segment thereof, so <br /> financed and constructed after July 1, 1966, will <br /> benefit and serve properties abutting on one side of <br /> such sewer line or segment, only, Four Thousand Five <br /> Hundred Eighty Dollars ($4,580.00) shall be paid for <br /> each connection thereto. This Subdivision shall not be <br /> applicable to portions of the Sewerage Facilities upon <br /> which City funds are expended to pay partially for the <br /> expense of construction if the only purpose of the <br /> City's contribution to the over-all cost is to cause <br /> 69 <br />
