Description
ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, as amended, entitled "Sanitary Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities", is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Chapter 27 is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27

Authority's Discretion. <br /> Authority's Manager, as the agent or officer designated <br /> with enforcement jurisdiction of the provision of <br /> Articles I - IV, inclusive, of this Chapter and as <br /> empowered or vested with the authority and functions <br /> substantially corresponding thereto under Authority's <br /> Regulations, shall have, and is hereby granted, the <br /> discretion to proceed with enforcement actions pursuant <br /> to either said provisions of this Chapter or <br /> corresponding provisions of Authority's Regulations or <br /> concurrently under both said provisions in any <br /> particular instance. <br /> "Section 27.135. Remedies Cumulative. The <br /> remedies provided for or specified in this Chapter <br /> shall be cumulative and not exclusive, and shall be in <br /> addition to any and all other remedies available to the <br /> City in the exercise of its powers." <br /> SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any section, sentence, clause, <br /> or other provision of this Ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect <br /> any other section, sentence, or other provision or application <br /> thereof which can be given effect without the invalid provision <br /> or application, and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance <br /> are severable. <br /> SECTION 4.
