All reroofing shall <br /> conform to the applicable provisions of Chapter 32 of <br /> the Building Code. <br /> All materials applied as roof covering for <br /> re-roofing shall have a fire retardant rating of Class <br /> A or B in accordance with U.B.C. Standard 32-7. <br /> Exception: Existing roofs with a classification <br /> less than B may be reroofed with similar material <br /> provided that the reroofed area does not exceed 25 <br /> percent of the total roof area in anyone-year period. <br /> Roofing materials and methods of application shall <br /> comply with the U.B.C. Standards or shall follow <br /> manufacturer's installation requirements when approved <br /> by the building official." <br /> SECTION 2.
