DES:dft ~/23/94 (017/10) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Uniform Franchise <br />Agreement in order to implement the aforesaid solid waste <br />diversion program; <br /> <br /> NOW; THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That certain agreement entitled, "First <br />Amendment to Uniform Franchise Agreement", by and between the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and Browning-Ferris Industries of California, Inc., <br />amending Section 2.2(b) ("Term") and Section 2.2(c) ("Extension") <br />of the Uniform Franchise Agreement, a copy of which First <br />Amendment to Agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to <br />attest thereto, said amendment to agreement for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br />days from the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> 2 2077 <br /> <br /> <br />
