ORDINANCE NO. 2090 ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 27A TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL PROGRAM THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27A is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27A. "STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL PROGRAM "ARTICLE I. General. "Section 27A.1. Purpose and Intent. The purpose of this Chapter is to ensure the future health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Redwood City

Construction and Application. This <br /> Chapter shall be construed to assure consistency with the <br /> requirements of the Federal Clean Water Act and acts <br /> amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, applicable <br /> implementing regulations, and NPDES Permit No. CA0029921 and <br /> any amendment, revision or reissuance thereof. <br /> <br /> "Section 27A.32. Remedies Cumulative. The remedies <br /> provided for or specified in this Chapter shall be cumulative <br /> and not exclusive, and shall be in addition to any and all <br /> other remedies available to the City in the exercise of its <br /> powers." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. If any section, sentence, clause or other <br />provision of this Ordinance, or the application thereof to any <br />person is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any other <br />section, sentence, or other provision or application thereof which <br />can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br />and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are severable. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br />days after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> 27 <br /> <br /> <br />
