ORDINANCE NO. 2090 ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 27A TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL PROGRAM THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 27A is hereby added to the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: "CHAPTER 27A. "STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND DISCHARGE CONTROL PROGRAM "ARTICLE I. General. "Section 27A.1. Purpose and Intent. The purpose of this Chapter is to ensure the future health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Redwood City

FXS:dft ~/22/94R(030/11) <br /> - ~/20/94R <br /> 5/05/95R <br /> <br />management, operation and repair of the Stormwater Drainage <br />System; the acquisition, construction and reconstruction <br />(including the extension or replacement) of existing <br />stormwater mains, collector mains and trunk lines, and the <br />enlargement or construction of the Stormwater Drainage <br />System; the payment of bond interest and principal or charges <br />due on any bond issue or other evidence of indebtedness <br />(including facilities bonds, all or any portion of the <br />proceeds of which are used for the aforesaid purposes); and <br />for such other lawful purposes of the City as the Council may <br />provide from time to time. <br /> <br /> "Section 27A.29. Acts Potentially Resultin~ In <br />Violation of Federal Clean Water Act and/or Porter Cologne <br />Act. Any person who violates any provisions of this Chapter, <br />any provision of any permit issued pursuant to this Chapter, <br />or who discharges waste or wastewater which causes pollution, <br />or who violates any cease and desist order, prohibition, or <br />effluent limitation, may also be in violation of the Federal <br />Clean Water Act and/or Porter-Cologne Act and may be subject <br />to the sanctions of those Acts including civil and criminal <br />penalty. Any enforcement action authorized under this <br />Chapter may also include notice to the violator of such <br />potential liability. <br /> <br /> "Section 27A.30. Coordination with Other Pro~rams. The <br />first revision of the business plan for any facility subject <br />to the City's hazardous materials inventory and response <br />program shall include a program for compliance with this <br /> <br /> 26 <br /> <br /> <br />
