ORDINANCE NO. 2102 ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ADDING ARTICLES IV, V, VI, VII, AND VIII OF CHAPTER 9 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE FOLLOWING CODES: "THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1994 EDITION"; "THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1994 EDITION"; AND "THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1993 EDITION" "ARTICLE IV. BUILDING CODES" THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS

Metallic piping shall not be used underground in <br /> those areas underlain by younger bay mud (see map published by Redwood City <br /> Building Division for approximate locations)."' <br /> "Section 9.91. Appendix D, Section D1(c) of the Plumbing Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "`(c) Rainwater piping located underground within a building shall be of <br /> service weight cast iron soil pipe, Type DWV copper tube, Schedule 40 ABS <br /> DWV or Schedule 40 PVC, DWV, extra strength vitrified clay pipe, or other <br /> approved materials. Metallic piping shall not be used underground in those <br /> areas underlain by younger bay mud (see map published by Redwood City <br /> Building Division for approximate locations). <br /> "Sections 9.92 - 9.109.
