O R I G I N A L 3/29/96 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2105 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TIME BY WHICH POLES AND <br /> OVERHEAD WIRES SHALL BE REMOVED AND <br /> UNDERGROUND SERVICE PROVIDED WITHIN <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A PORTION OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND ESTABLISHING THE USE OF <br /> UNDERGROUND CONVERSION ALLOCATION PURSUANT TO <br /> DECISION BY THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article II of Chapter 11 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City (commencing with § 11.30), proceedings for <br />the establishment of an underground utility district in a portion of the City of <br />Redwood City were instituted by Resolution No. 12596, adopted August 28, <br />1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 12596 sets forth the purpose of said <br />district, its proposed designation, and boundary description describing what utility <br />facilities, if any, may be maintained above ground, and the time and place for <br />hearing objections to the formation of the proposed district; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the hearing held on October 9, 1995, this <br />Council adopted ordinance No. 2099, entitled "ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN <br />UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A PORTION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; DESIGNATING SAID DISTRICT AS UNDERGROUND <br />UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1995-1; DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID <br />DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING WHAT UTILITY FACILITIES WILL BE <br />MAINTAINED ABOVE GROUND; AND ESTABLISHING THE TIME BY WHICH <br /> <br /> <br />
