POLES AND OVERHEAD WIRES SHALL BE REMOVED AND <br />UNDERGROUND SERVICE PROVIDED"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to extend the time by which poles and <br />overhead wire shall be removed and underground service provided; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to establish the use of the underground <br />conversion allocation for undergrounding utilities for certain residential properties <br />pursuant to decision by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article II of Chapter 11 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City (commencing with § 11.30), proceedings for <br />the amendment of Ordinance Section 2084 were instituted by Resolution No. <br />, adopted October 7, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. sets forth the amendments <br /> <br />and the time and place for hearing objections to the amendment to Ordinance <br />Section 2084; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was provided by mailing and <br />publication in accordance with Section 11.42 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Monday, November 18, 1996, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon <br />thereafter as the matter could be heard, at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, <br />Hall of Justice and Records, 401 Marshall Street, City of Redwood City, <br />California, the following objections were received: <br /> <br />Ord-008 2 <br />FXS:djk <br />09/23/96 <br /> 2120 <br /> <br /> <br />
