ORDINANCE NO. 2136 URGENCY INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE "TP" (TIDAL PLAIN) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTIES LOCATED BETWEEN THE LIDO NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AND BAY SLOUGH AND PROPERTIES WITHIN "AREA H" IN THE REDWOOD SHORES AREA OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: Section 1. D. Policy 17 of the Specific Plan provides: <br /> <br /> "Designate Parcels 8A and 8B for general commercial <br /> uses that are compatible with nearby housing. Uses allowed <br /> by right on Parcels 8A and 8B include retail and wholesale <br /> nurseries, public storage/warehousing, public recreational or <br /> other parking, and Iow-rise office/R & D. Other conditional <br /> uses, subject to securing a use permit, may be identified by <br /> the City." (Emphasis added); <br /> <br /> E. The purpose of the aforesaid commercial designation is to <br /> provide a buffer zone between the residential areas of the <br /> Specific Plan and the industrial type of usage associated <br /> with wastewater treatment and disposal facilities located <br /> generally easterly of the Lido development area; <br /> <br /> F.
