J. Potential development of the TP Zoned Properties pose a current <br /> <br />and immediate threat to the public health, safety, or welfare, and approval of <br />additional subdivisions, use permits, variances, building permits, or any other <br />applicable entitlement for use within the TP Zoned Properties would result in that <br />threat to public health, safety, or welfare; and <br /> <br /> K. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2136 entitled, "Urgency Interim <br /> <br />Ordinance Prohibiting Development of Property Within the 'TP" (Tidal Plain) <br />Zoning District Classification of Properties Located Between the Lido <br />Neighborhood Specific Plan Area and Bay Slough and Properties Within 'Area H' <br />in the Redwood Shores Area of the City of Redwood City," adopted January 26, <br />1998, a moratorium was established upon the development of property located <br />within the TP Zoned Properties for a forty-five (45) day period pursuant to the <br />provisions of Government Code Section 65858; and <br /> <br /> L. On February 23, 1998, a duly noticed public hearing was held on the <br />question of extending the aforesaid interim ordinance for a period of ten (10) <br />months and fifteen (15) days pursuant to the provision of Government Code <br />Section 65858(a). <br /> <br /> Section 2. The moratorium upon the development of property located <br />within the TP Zoned Properties as shown on Exhibit "A" hereof, heretofore <br />established pursuant to Ordinance No. 2136, above mentioned, is hereby <br />extended for a period of ten (10) months and fifteen (15) days.
