ORDINANCE NO. 2139 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 20.184, 20.186, AND 20.189 OF THE CODE OF THE CI'FY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO DESIGNATION OF REGULATED UNMETERED OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITIES, DESIGNATION OF PERMITTING AND TIME LIMITATIONS, AND ENFORCEMENT PERTAINING THERETO, RESPECTIVELY The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 20.184 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 20.184. The following off-street parking facilities, owned or operated by the City, are hereby designated as regulated, unmetered off-street parking facilities

"Section 20.186. <br /> <br /> A. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br /> occupy or remain in a designated space in any regulated <br /> unmetered off-street .parking facility unless such vehicle <br /> displays a parking facility permit as described in Section <br /> 20.187, or said vehicle bears distinctive markings, or logo, <br /> or sign (collectively, "City identification") identifying said <br /> vehicle as City-owned or as an otherwise duly designated <br /> City vehicle, except to the contrary provided in Subdivisions <br /> B, C, and D, hereof. <br /> <br /> B It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br /> occupy or remain in a designated space: (i) in the City Hall <br /> parking lot (described in Subdivision C of Section 20.184) <br /> unless such vehicle displays a parking facility permit or City <br /> identification as described in Section 20.187; or (ii) without <br /> such permit, for longer than one (1) hour between the hours <br /> of 00:01 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and <br /> holidays, when signs are erected giving notice thereof. <br /> <br /> C. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br /> occupy or remain in any designated space in the employee <br /> and Main Library parking lot (described in Subdivision D of <br /> Section 20.184) unless such vehicle displays a parking <br /> facility permit or City identification as described in Section <br /> 20.187, provided that vehicles which do not display such <br /> permit or identification may occupy and remain in parking <br /> spaces designated for library visitor parking between the <br /> hours of 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and between the <br /> hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, when <br /> signs are erected giving notice thereof. <br /> <br /> D. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br /> occupy or remain in any space in the Police Department <br /> parking lot (described in Subdivision B of Section 20.184) or <br /> in any space designated for visitor parking in the Municipal <br /> Services Center parking lot (described in Subdivision E of <br /> Section 20.184) for more than one (1) hour, except on <br /> Sundays and holidays, when signs are erected giving notice <br /> thereof. <br /> <br /> E.
