b. Political signs shall not exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area. <br /> <br /> c. Political signs may be displayed either on privately owned property or within <br /> the public right-of-way in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section <br /> 3.114 of this Article. <br /> <br />d. No political sign shall be displayed sooner than ninety (90) days prior to the <br /> election to which it pertains. Each such sign shall be removed within ten (10) <br /> days after the election. <br /> Section 3.102. Professional Occupation Signs. One (1) sign up to one (1) square <br /> foot in area identifying each firm occupying a building, provided that the sign is <br /> displayed on an exterior door. <br /> <br />Section 3.103. Public Interest Signs. Signs displayed by a public agency for the <br />purpose of guiding persons to emergency centers or places, buildings or locations of <br />regional or historical significance. Such signs may be displayed off of the premises <br />either on privately owned property or within the public right-of-way in accordance with <br />the provisions set forth in Section 3.192 of this Article. <br /> <br />Section 3.104. Scoreboards. Scoreboards used for athletic events and located at the <br />site where the event takes place. <br /> <br />Section 3.105. State Lottery Signs. Signs advertising California lottery game sales, <br />provided such signs are the minimum number and size required to comply with the <br />provisions of the California Lottery Commission. <br /> <br />Section 3.106. Traffic Control Devices. Traffic control signs, signals and other <br />devices that are installed by a public agency. <br /> <br />Section 32107. Warning Signs. One (1) warning sign per lot frontage is exempt <br />provided the sign does not exceed three (3) square feet in area or four (4) feet in <br />height. <br /> <br />Section 3.108. Window Signs. Window signs that comply with the provisions of <br />Division 4 ("Special Provisions - Nonresidential Districts") of this Article. <br /> <br /> DIVISION 8. REAL ESTATE SIGNS <br /> <br />Section 3.'109. General Application. A property owner or his/her agent may display <br />non-illuminated signs advertising the property for sale, lease or exchange in <br />accordance with the provisions set forth below. Unless a building permit or electrical <br />permit is required, real estate signs that comply with the requirements of this Division <br />may be displayed without obtaining a permit from the City. <br />Section 3.110.
