Deck Requirement solid sheathing. <br /> Sheathing shall be minimum 1/2" nominal thickness <br /> and conform to Sections 2312.2 and 2320.12.9 of <br /> the Building Code. Alternative methods to achieve a <br /> Class A or B rating are acceptable. <br /> <br /> "Section 9.53. Section 1514, Appendix Chapter 15 of Building <br />Code Amended: Section 1514, Appendix Chapter 15 of the Building Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 1514. General. All reroofing shall conform to the <br />applicable provisions of Chapter 15 of the Building Code. All materials applied <br />as roof-covering for reroofing shall have a fire retardant rating of Class A or B in <br />accordance with U.B.C.
